The 2015 OECD working Group on Measurement and analysis of the digital economy (WPMADE) meeting in Paris, France.

The organization for Economic Cooperation and Development (OECD) held the annual meeting of the “Working Party on Measurement and analysis of the digital economy (WPMADE)" in Paris between 30 November to December 1st 2015.
It should be noted that the working group of the Organization (WPMADE) was formulated for the purpose of monitoring and coordination of statistical work between Member States and contribute to the development of quantitative indicators necessary to meet the requirements of the policies of the Special Committee for information, computer and communications and analysis (ICCP) and its committees.
Most of the member countries of the OECD attended the meeting, as well as the states that have "observer" seat within the committee, including Egypt.
This year the meeting discussed many of the issues, most important the preparations for the “Ministerial Conference on the Information Society” in 2016 and the role of the information society indicators group within the conference. The meeting discussed as well the change in the demand curves for labor and new jobs needed in this area, trade measurements by mobile and electronic payments, taxonomies for employment in the field of telecommunications and IT information (ISCO-08). This is in addition to the experiences shared from different countries concerning  measuring the use of households, individuals and the private sector of ICT tools and information technology.
